Correct. You do know the significance behind snake right? Or, at least, what it'll mean to you? It's typically the hand sign that molds chakra to use earth elemental ninjutsu. I'm sure I might be able to find a book, or use the battledome to see if there are any Earth ninjutsu you could pick up on.
