It's not like that. Freedom's a big part of airbending, but it's not like we could just do anything we wanted. We still had disciplines and elders who made decisions for us, and they were done to help keep balance with the other nations. And sometimes they called for freedom to be taken away, like... when they wanted me to be the Avatar and stop the war. [He shakes his head quickly.] It's easier when you think of airbending as being based on spiral movements- or being a leaf in the wind. It's about freedom in shifting against resistance, instead of going over it.
