[Action A]
[Eighteen days. He's been missing for eighteen days - not that he's been able to keep track, honestly. The best he can figure, it's been "about two weeks." About two weeks since they lost and were kidnapped. Some good the modification of the droids did, huh? He recognizes where he's been dropped off, though. He's on the beach.

The cold, snowy, beach.

Groaning, and with a shivering pikachu in his arms, the boy starts his long march to the teleporters, and after that he'll be making a long trek back up to CH1. He's in a torn coat, pants, and shirt and generally looking bruised and tired. No matter how he and Linda get to the apartment, that's their intended destination. He's used to bleeding, and neither him nor his girl seem to be bleeding enough that they need medical attention before they need to just - mercifully, finally - get some decent sleep. He can ask Shikamaru if Katara's back to normal, to know if he should call his Doctor or not.

Either way, they'll sleep. They'll sleep several hours, before he wakes up and then decides to get his things in order.]

Yellow-chan. Think you can do me a favor?

I think my Doctor's nice and booked, so can either if you take a house call? [Or he could go to them... whatever]

You didn't go home too, right? Oh, wow, guess not.

[Maybe he should call Gold and Silver too. Maybe some of his other buddies. ...Nah. Green'll tell the first two, and if he doesn't, then Yellow will. He feels a little lonely, and maybe a little depressed through all the soreness, but it's not like too much has changed. He doesn't really want to face them. Or at least, he doesn't want to call them to face them. Maybe he'll run into them later.]

[Action B]
[After he's recovered more, maybe within the next day or two, he has a greater understanding of what's happened. He remembers them losing, and he remembers fragments of what happened to him at their base. There was a lot of electricity involved, and he tells himself that's why Linda doesn't seem to be able to zap anything effectively at the moment. She's still able to run coils around her, but... No, no.

It's been a tense while, and they're almost at Valentines. In fact, looking back in the journal, that blue guy even suggested something like a warning. So maybe he'll just hit the town. No training for him, because even if he's mostly better (he thinks) he's not sure what's happened to him exactly, or to his mouse. That's why he, with Linda on his shoulder, are sort of walking in the snow aimlessly. Both have scarves he got as various gifts on their necks and he hits a lot of haunts: The Rec Center to play some video games, the Item Shop to see if there's Valentines things, the Library just because, the Welcome Center just... because.

He's not really looking for people, but he's not really looking to avoid people. Honestly, he still feels lonely though. If he's honest with himself, the sensation is similar to - but not the same as - that time after he left the Scarves and before Mikado made it to Tokyo.

And as the day goes on, more and more strange things keep happening. He shocks himself on doors from static electricity, he shorts out the game in the middle of getting a high school (okay, no, but a man can dream), other... things. All based in electricity.]

[Masaomi's Kidnap effect is that his body is electrically charged like he's some sort of electric-based superperson-thing. The level fluctuates and is related to his recovery and skin contact. He can't really control it either. If you see him after the realization he'll be wearing various different types of gloves as he tests out what works and what doesn't. Run into him anywhere around town]

[He flinches at the flick.]

Ow! It just... makes sense. The balance of the nations and of the elements is important to our world. And waterbending's based on push and pull. It just makes sense to apply it to ourselves too.

And airbending's based on freedom, isn't it? That freedom's gotta fly above "Balance."

It's not like that. Freedom's a big part of airbending, but it's not like we could just do anything we wanted. We still had disciplines and elders who made decisions for us, and they were done to help keep balance with the other nations. And sometimes they called for freedom to be taken away, like... when they wanted me to be the Avatar and stop the war. [He shakes his head quickly.] It's easier when you think of airbending as being based on spiral movements- or being a leaf in the wind. It's about freedom in shifting against resistance, instead of going over it.

[... Tch. Linda on his shoulder just is so not getting this or listening other than to think about how much airbending sucks. She hates birds. She really does.

Masaomi himself has his brows knit together, and he holds up one of his hands to wave it in the air and then sighs]

I'll never get that, Aang-kun, just saying.

That's okay, Masaomi. You don't have to. I wound up kind of different from what's expected of airbenders, anyway. [Like rooting himself with attachments. Or daring to hope.] But then what do you mean by the leveling thing?

Hey, if that's what you take out of it, that's what's true! It's not like I can change your mind! [And he laughs, patting Aang on his head after rocking over to the guy. When he does though, a decently strong electric current comes out of his palm into the guy's head]

I'm just curious-

[He was giving a friendly s,mile when the head contact was made... and suddenly there's electricity in his body. In his head. He staggers forward.]

Huh-? Aang-?

[What was that. He takes a step back too, surprised at. That]

[Aang winds up on his knees, feeling at his head and letting out a sharp hiss of pain.]

What- What did you...?

I... don't know. [But he rubs his fingers together, some sparks. Well. Linda, for her part, looks at it intently, frowning]

[He slowly turns to face Masaomi, looking pale and with watering eyes from the unexplained attack.]

What do you mean? Why did... I- I got shocked.

[Oh here we go. His eyes get a bit more distant, and he takes a step back, a sort of pit falling out of his stomach. Huh. Wow, he feels a million miles away. Linda, for her part is looking between them]

I said I don't know.

[There's fear in his eyes as he looks between Masaomi and Linda. It was right when Masaomi touched him... but Linda was the one with the electric powers. He blinked, disoriented as he tried to focus.]

You have to know!

Well I don't! [He says this with widening eyes and a very distorted smile. Because what if word of this reached Green. He doesn't think it was Linda-- no, but it had to be, didn't it? But he didn't feel it... but if it was, that bastard might take her from him-- He needs to stop Aang from telling Green. But Aang is his friend--]

[Green had said something vague about Masaomi needing retaining. And he wasn't training Ikki anymore... Could that mean some kind of threat. But he tries to look at Linda instead, while his head is pounding.]

W-what about you, Linda? Did you... did you hurt me? [He says with some hurt in his voice. He trusted Linda as a friend.]

She didn't, Aang-kun! Don't doubt it!

[Of course, his eyes, his voice, both are quite... off. As he says it, to cut off his mouse, who is about to peacefully say she has no idea what happened there, but she's distracted by the blatant desperation in Masaomi's voice. And the fact he's reaching out to grab Aang's shoulder.]

[All of that is really bothering Aang, and he tries to step back out of Masaomi's reach. He replies in a strained voice.]

Masaomi, there was electricity in my head! I know what it feels like, after what happened to me! It couldn't come from nowhere!

And it didn't come from my partner! [And his eyes narrow, going from wide to small, focused. He can't let Aang think this. He can't let Aang tell Green. The arm which was going to touch Aang balls into a fist, which causes a crackle of electricity run around all his fingers there, around the first.

Linda, meanwhile, leaps off Masaomi's shoulder to get in front of him and glare up at him. but he's ignoring that right now]

[Aang gasps as he sees the electricity. Painful, horrible memories of sensations flash before his eyes. One leg slides back and he shouts above his headache.]

Masaomi, stop!

Stop what?!

[Tunnel vision, more sparking---

And he in fact zaps himself. Actually, a huge jolt runs up his body from his arm and he falls backwards onto the ground. Which causes Linda to yelp and head over to look at him]

No! [He had almost instinctively entered the stance to deflect it. The moment Masaomi's electrocuted, the light dances in Aang's eyes, and he's rooted in horror for just a moment. Then he rushes to Masaomi's side, looking down at him.]

Can you hear me? Masaomi, are you okay?!

Ow. [He winces, but it's not that much stronger than other times during Linda's more early training. But now he looks at his hand and-- ... there's electrical burns on his palm. Well. that's awkward. He's only dimly aware of Aang and Linda there]

[He's conscious, that's one thing. But Aang panics. He doesn't know what to do. Should he call Katara? Try Nala which he isn't well-practiced with? He looks to Linda as if she could hold an answer before leaning over Masaomi to try getting a better look at his damage.]

Masaomi... Can you hear me? How do you feel?

[Linda, for her part, is tapping his cheek lightly, trying to get him to zone back in. And Masaomi himself groans, and then focuses on Aang. His fingers feel too weird on the burned hand to give a thumbs up, so he just gives one lightly on the other hand]

I'm gonna get someone. I need to get... someone? Can you stand? [He looks around nervously, but ready to help Masaomi stand if need be. Maybe just getting him to whichever clinic was nearer would be the best solution.]
