Mmm. I wonder. Call it conjecture on my part, but what happens to a body when you stab out it's heart?
[ This world... but those are some broad assumptions on his part. About more than one thing. ]
[ Action ]
[ But as for the main part of what Masaomi Kida is doing today, he's hanging out by the fountain, standing on the edge of it with arms wide. Weakness. Weakness is what might destroy them, huh? He wonders if that's individual, or if that's the weakness of a people. He wonders what weakness actually means. Despite this, he's not with Linda for once, and there's a smile on his face. It doesn't meet his eyes, but he's hawking around for anyone in the square, particularly people he knows. And he's holding in his hands two... playing cards?
And when he spies someone, he'll have to bound up to them and ask: ]
Hello! Hello~! Let's play a little game, huuuh?
[ Because he's older now. Because it's the end, and because what else is there left for him to loose. He'll play a game which has him terrified. ]

Oh, his mom? Is his mom cool?
action
You can also tell exactly why Gold is how he is if you meet her.
action
[ "You can tell exactly why Gold is how he is..."
He wonders what Silver means by that, but when he thinks about it, he can also see it. A somewhat spoiled boy who was always surrounded by love. That... would explain how Gold got to be how he was. He wonders, honestly, if who Yori Kida is reflects on him. But he can ponder that later - he's got more to ask Silver about that, but he bows all the same, motioning for him to ask his first ]
action
He shakes his head briefly while considering what to ask. ]
...If you go home, what would you be going home to? [What's going on at his home? What kind of home does he have?]
action
[ He exhales, and explains the rest of this with hand motions ]
I'll be going back to Raira, and I'll live out the daily life I've been living with my good friend Mikado, and the girl we're in a love triangle with, Anri-chan. Considering what was going on, there'll probably be a few more slasher incidents, and that'll come to some head call the "Slasher Night." [ He licks his lips... now going into the vague notions of the future he knows from them. He's forcing himself to say this. He's forcing himself to speak the Truth. To bear his heart ]
And someday after that... something will happen to make us at ends. And I'll betray them - I'll leave them, and I'm really not sure why. I only knows bits and pieces of that future.
action
That's too many questions at once, and it's not even his turn.]
Tell me about Ikebukuro. [And then he'll share more about the time he met Gold's mom.]
action
You got it! Ikebukuro's a city within a city - it's a part of Tokyo, the the capitol of my fair nation and a city of over ten million people. So picture the biggest forest you can picture, and it feels like that, just it's all man-made. Well, there's a park or two... but that's the city as a whole. As for the 'buro-
Well, it's a font of entertainment, alight in a way that makes it dazzle no matter what time of day it is. We've got a lot of foreigners, a lot of shop, and big ol' malls like Sunshine City. It's a paradise, if you're heading to the right places, and you're not going into the shadows... because man, does it have shadows. There's a darkness that sleeps in the city, but if you're on the straight and narrow, no one's going to find it.
But more than that... it's big enough to be invisible in, but small enough to have our local legends. Maybe you want to run across the Black Bike, our very own headless rider. Maybe you want to see a monster of a man called Shizuo Heiwajima, or the legendary Russia Sushi that a lot of the locals hang at. Rumors fly at the speed of sound, and if you keep your eyes open, you can feel like you know everything, even if you don't know everyone.
That's the romantic vision you can have of Ikebukuro.
action
It sounds like you've got a lot of weird stuff going on back at home. [Along with a lot of dangerous stuff. The romantic vision of Ikebukuro. ...He wants to ask more, but his end of the deal is to share more about Gold's mom, right? His turn's getting overdue, too.]
...There was a really cold winter when I was younger. I didn't know Gold very well at the time. [How old was he again? Twelve?]
I got pretty sick, and even though Gold and I weren't at each other's necks anymore, I didn't really expect him to invite me into his home. [Or. Uh. Drag him into his home before he froze to death. But that's not an important detail.] But he did.
His house was just as big as our house here, if not bigger. And it was just as full of Pokémon that they considered family. Gold's mom treated me just like she treated him. [They've got the same heart. The same kindness. The same warmth to them...]
But she also has the same kind of carefree attitude that he does, considering she let some sketchy stranger right into her house without question and teased both of us the way Gold teases everyone. [A relaxed and carefree attitude that's way too trusting... That's another way those two are exactly the same.]
1/2
[ And it's true. Even i na world with headless fairies and whatever else might exist because of that... there's no way that it'll ever feel as strange as, say, the world of Pokémon ]
But that big, huh... [ So Gold's a rich kid. You know, he doesn't know why that surprises him, the affect the guy had probably could only have come from someone who had everything to begin with. But somehow, it does still blindside him. Does that mean that in some sense, Gold was a poser when they hung out and did stuff? It's a pity he'll probably never get resolution on that. But to be so full probably explains how he can be so full.
And why Silver would benefit from him.
Hah. Masaomi's smile is briefly warm and a little nostalgic, allowing himself to bask in his vision of Silver's memory. It lasts a long moment... before he snaps his fingers ]
action
action
He's a little blind sighted by Masaomi's snap response, and more than a little perplexed by his question. What he's the most proud of... Does he have anything to be proud of?
He keeps quiet and lets his eyes wander, struggling to find an answer. And then he finds it. He picks up Weavile and holds him out as his answer.]
My Pokémon. [That's the best answer he can give. Weavile doesn't mind being showed off, but he does sheepishly scratch at the back of his feather crown.]
action
action
Silver takes a deep breath, then continues. Honestly.]
Me and my Pokémon have done all kinds of things that only we can do. They're strong, they're smart, we trust each other, we've grown together.
I don't know if I have anything to be proud of that I've done without them.
action
Would they be anywhere without you?
action
Silver starts counting on his fingers.]
I don't know, yes, I hope so, probably, yeah but Gold and Kurt's grandkid would have been dead at the bottom of a ditch and I don't think any of us would be alive if Gold died, no, and yes.
action
action
[He's annoyed just thinking of Gold back then. Jeez...]
I was up there chasing after my buddy Ursaring. Gold decided to turn it into a competition, even though it was never what he was up there for in the first place. He wanted to look cool or something. Changed his tune real quick when we were almost clawed off a cliff.
action
action
[Besides, Gold started to turn around then. Kind of. Man he was still really annoying...]
Besides, bragging about being better than Gold at that time would be like bragging about searing a Caterpie with a Ninetales.
action
action
The right thing... That's definitely what he wants to do, anyway.]
That was at least four questions. [Maybe it's not fair to try and bow out of answering honestly, but if Masaomi wants to keep pressing the issue, he'll get his chance later.]
action
[ Well then, he waves a hand to motion for him to ask a question. That was all one question, really, because it's specifics on the topic. But he's right, that it could be considered unfair. ]
action
[There are plenty of other questions he could ask about what Masaomi told him, but this is the one that bothers him the most.]
action
[ And this is why he's more or less certain of it ]
... And they know that I was a part of the Yellow Scarves. So my past will be coming back in the future, too.
action
[It could mean that. Or it could mean that he's off to do some soul searching or end things once and for all or something else that's cool and dramatic. Or maybe he's just going on a quick trip and will be back eventually.]
