Mmm. I wonder. Call it conjecture on my part, but what happens to a body when you stab out it's heart?
[ This world... but those are some broad assumptions on his part. About more than one thing. ]
[ Action ]
[ But as for the main part of what Masaomi Kida is doing today, he's hanging out by the fountain, standing on the edge of it with arms wide. Weakness. Weakness is what might destroy them, huh? He wonders if that's individual, or if that's the weakness of a people. He wonders what weakness actually means. Despite this, he's not with Linda for once, and there's a smile on his face. It doesn't meet his eyes, but he's hawking around for anyone in the square, particularly people he knows. And he's holding in his hands two... playing cards?
And when he spies someone, he'll have to bound up to them and ask: ]
Hello! Hello~! Let's play a little game, huuuh?
[ Because he's older now. Because it's the end, and because what else is there left for him to loose. He'll play a game which has him terrified. ]

[Action] WE CAN DO IT...
I'll actually ceed you the first question, unless you want to deny that.
[Action]
But Luceti's gifted him with one thing so far: numbness, enough to start with a generous freebie, just to test the waters]
Who are you gonna miss the most, once we're all kicked out of this shitty place?
[Action]
[Action]
Good choice, then.
[He's a little surprised the answer wasn't "Katara".]
[Action]
[ And the one who he'd miss. The one who he currently can't function without. The "he" he is now... ]
Does that mean it's my turn, Sanji-san? You're still in?
[Action]
[Do your worst.]
[Action]
Did you ever fall in love with someone here?
[Action]

Y'know, innocent question thought it might be, Sanji's expression is a blank sheet of ice - and this before the ends of his lips twitch into something cracked. No hearts, no smitten words, no preamble.]
Yeah, still am.
[Action]
And things are complicated. [ That's not a question, it's not a question ] I won't be as vulgar as to ask who, but what if I asked you to recount a pleasant story you have from it?
[Action]
Pleasant... [Ha. This question is more difficult than the first -- and hold the fuck up, is Masaomi skipping turns? Sanji chooses not to give a damn one way or another, it's a matter of pride at this point, and eventually, with a hint of reluctance:]
We went camping, once, the two of us. Both of us needed to get away for a while. [A nod in the general directions of the mountains] I think around springtime. [A pause, and his lips try their damnedest not to quirk up into a smile.] Damn shit kept talking about bugs or butterflies or something, and I had to chase him down to eat.
[Ginko had been... ugh, not cute, because no man is "cute" in the way Sanji thinks of it - but it'd been endearing watching one of his favorite idiots derp around in the dirt, trying to impart the importance of nature on an disinterested chef.]
Re: [Action]
And yes, he might be, if you look at it that way - if you look at it another way, he's just pushing out the best that he can out of his question, he's making it fulfilled and worth it. So he listens - it's not a long or a detailed story, but it's clearly something which stirs up some pleasant memories for him. It's clearly something that this man wants to smile with, even if there's some other complications now.
Him, huh? Weird.
But that's a footnote in anything. Masaomi hears the man out, and by the time the guy is trailing off, Masaomi's got a hand over his heart and he gives a little motion, welcoming Sanji to make his next demand of him. He won't comment on that pleasant memory, because... well, he doesn't have context and there's no need to poke a bear he doesn't necessarily know the needs of ]
[Action]
[Blunt, to the point. He ignores whatever act Masaomi put on during Sanji's reminiscing, and regards him with a quieter frown. More than anything, he just wants to see how far Masaomi's honesty will go.]
[Action]
Though, if I were to guess, I would assume it'll be how fragile my courage is. [ He puts his hands into his pockets, shrugging now as he focuses his eyes on nothing in particular. ] Unable to face others or myself, you know - that sort of end seems fitting.
