Specifically, he is standing on the ceiling of the grocery store and has his journal propped up on one of the shelves to record him being on the ceiling. He's doing this to be swagilicious, and you are free to walk in on him or see the video, but he begins with a laugh and a nod]

Greetings, greeting Luceti! I know, I was thinking I'd roll with the mood of love we've had for a while now and set up some dates, but I didn't find any chocolates in the grocery. I took this as a sign that the time for steamy romance might not be just now, and I've decided to request of you something I don't usually do! [He spreads his arms wide and begins to pace... on the ceiling. He's really straining his chakra control here and anyone who knows the look for the signs will notice that despite trying to look flippant, he is concentrating quite a bit.] Namely, does anyone wish to try one of those fabled spars with me and my partner? I promise, it won't be something you regret! [And with a wink, and releases himself from the ceiling. He flips himself in the air as he falls and lands on his feet. He groans when he does because that impact was harder than he thought it would be, but he switches the journal off afterwards.

The original version of this simulation was actually a Marsh, but he drained it of water not not give he and overwhelming advantage. So while there's foliage and a few animals around (...huh, that's interesting, that looks like a flying manta ray over there. He tries not to think about it. He'd seen giant wasp things here, but that's a new one)

Either way. Mushroom forest. And he humps as he follows her in and shuts the door]

Oh no, just saying. I'm sure he outclasses me.

[There might as well be a record scratch here as he narrows his eyes and sighs] I'm not hungry, Ten-chan. I'm of a good stomach to be doing chakra control, which, I might add, I've been doing for months.

Mm, is that so? [A slight pause as he remembers something.] And that trick you were doing with standing on the ceiling of the grocery earlier? Is that a "talent you've had all your life" too, or something new you've picked up?

[Rather grudgingly stated. Neji doesn't have a lot of positive feelings for Sasuke.]

[Korra actually becomes too absorbed in staring at the landscape than remembering what they came here for. Large mushrooms is definitely not what she expected to see.]

There's probably some world like this, though. [Huh, it looks so weird with the water drained. The soil's got a greenish tint to it. And... wow that manta is still weird over there to the left. Also now he looks at it the mushroom-trees actually have bark (or something like it) on their crooked trunks.

Buuuut, he now goes to take out and expand to baseball size Linda's Pokeball. Which he tosses in the air and catches]

[When Masaomi fishes out Linda's ball Korra already has her back turned to him. Her arms stretch up, and her hands rest clasped behind her head. As the Avatar continues further into the simulation she speaks up again.]

So when is your partner supposed to get here?

[He must have missed what Masaomi was talking about, given he had only just walked in after the announcement.]

[The sudden jump back caught her off guard, but that didn't last for very long. Back to pouting!]

I didn't say anything even close to that! You're just trying to embarrass me now.

Oh, I'm sorry. How dare I didn't recognize your astounding progress. [ Her voice is dry, and very sarcastic. ] I was just checking. My teammate, Lee, used to be unable to build enough chakra to do somethings unless he had a full stomach, even after a couple of months. He relies primarily on taijutsu now.

You can doubt me as much as you want, I don't really care. But right then, you were effectively doubting Shikamaru, and I can't abide someone doubting him in something he excels in. Just to be clear.

[That's all in a gravely serious tone]

Buuuuut, [And now backina more jovial tone] I suspect I'll never get ninjutsu, let alone genjutsu down. Probably would only ever qualify for you genin, and I'm not even there yet. But if you want us to get to work, I'm at your disposal.

Yeah, I get that vibe. [He rocks from one leg to the other. Okay, there.

Now making their way into the forest, he's still relying on Neji's lead, just sort of making conversation as they go]

Oh, no sir. I worked my butt off for that one. Been training with a ninja for months and everything.

[And he clicks the button on the ball, tossing it into the air. With a flash of red light and a small cry, Linda appears into existence int he air, falling quickly to Masaomi's feet]

Oh, you missed it? Yeeeah, I made an offer to the village. Thought I'd try out this mythical thing.

[He folds his arms behind his head, tilting to the side some and smirking]

I see... [He nods] Well, I think your hard work certainly shows, since it was a remarkable technique with a unique taste--after all, I can't say I know very many Pokemon Trainers in Unova that have trained themselves to perform such feats.

[Brycen is maybe the closest he could think of as an example, but he's more of a martial artist, not a ninja.]

...Don't you guys live in the tropics, basically?
