[Masaomi is wearing this... (also this bracelet) and he's upside down. Specifically, he is standing on the ceiling of the grocery store and has his journal propped up on one of the shelves to record him being on the ceiling. He's doing this to be swagilicious, and you are free to walk in on him or see the video, but he begins with a laugh and a nod]

Greetings, greeting Luceti! I know, I was thinking I'd roll with the mood of love we've had for a while now and set up some dates, but I didn't find any chocolates in the grocery. I took this as a sign that the time for steamy romance might not be just now, and I've decided to request of you something I don't usually do! [He spreads his arms wide and begins to pace... on the ceiling. He's really straining his chakra control here and anyone who knows the look for the signs will notice that despite trying to look flippant, he is concentrating quite a bit.] Namely, does anyone wish to try one of those fabled spars with me and my partner? I promise, it won't be something you regret! [And with a wink, and releases himself from the ceiling. He flips himself in the air as he falls and lands on his feet. He groans when he does because that impact was harder than he thought it would be, but he switches the journal off afterwards.

...Feel free to see him in there, of course. He'll be waiting for responses there after, sitting in a chair eating an apple with Linda the Pikachu doing the same next to him]

[There isn't enough sloshing sound. How is- either Neji can fly, he's using those wings or...

Is there enough water to walk on it? The grounds so irregular, he concludes the chakra use necessary would't be worth it. So instead, he whistles, which Linda responds to and starts to float (Magnet Rise) down to him]

[Linda is still in play, and Neji contemplates the likelihood of attacking her directly. He's been holding off so far, but she's a player in this battle too, and between her and Masaomi, she's perhaps the most dangerous.

So he lunges for her this time, aiming for a simple strike to bat her out of the air.]

[Which connects. But she does have Static so ~~there is a 30%~~ there is a chance that strike with partially paralyze Neji's hand via her ambient electricity. Linda, for her part, yeps as she's knocked back, but it's hardly a hard blow by her standards.

Anyway. Masaomi is now going in for his next punch for Neji, having been bought the seconds he needed to get some sort of footing]

[And the chance succeeds! Neji hisses in sudden pain as the electricity jolts through his arm, numbing it, and he pulls back, trying to overcome the disruption of nerves and chakra circulation. That's... more than annoying. His attacks can be used with either hand, but typically, he goes in with both, and one numbed arm will throw him off severely for any elaborate techniques.

He's not defenseless, but it's a setback. So he'll wait, let Masaomi come to him now, and block the punch with his good arm, staying on the defensive while he tries to get his affected nerves back to functioning properly.]

[More punches. High, low, left, high. He's trying to keep up the pressure and also get his footing. Neji's clearly on the defensive so even if he's not actually landing any solid hits, it's still buying time for him to collect himself (okay, so he's tiring himself out, sue him) but also time for Linda to use her Agility to move for flanking Neji.

Unfortunately, in this contest, Masaomi is more liable to tire first of the three of them and he knows it, particularly after all the pressure hits he took earlier]

[Neji's on the defensive, but with the price he's paying in chakra, he's also on much more solid footing. He'll be a tired puppy after this, but it'll be worth it.

Just waiting for the right moment, for Masaomi to overextend just a little in the muddy ground. Feeling in his arm is returning, but he acts like it isn't, still heavily favoring the other.]

[Low, heavy, down, right-

The right hook goes too far. He's made himself vulnerable. But, likely before Neji can break into that, Linda - who is now behind him- is coming in with another Iron Tail. A metal-coated club tail that is. She's still holding off on Aqua Tail - despite the rain - until Masaomi says so.]

[Hi Linda, the eyes in the back of his head see you. Neji passes up the opportunity to strike, preferring to get out of her way -- but as he rolls, he comes up into a kaiten, a whirling attack that creates a dome around himself, powerful enough to push Masaomi and Linda both back.]

[Wow.

Neither of them saw that coming. Both of them are pushed back, Masaomi ending up flat on his ass in the mud and Linda getting pushed back too, frustrated.

Masaomi, for his part, whistles]

Wow.

[Neji comes out of the spin, starting to seriously feel his chakra drain but trying to hide it.]

Why thank you.

[And he falls back a bit, giving Masaomi a moment to get to his feet. This is a friendly spar, after all.]

Wheeeew.. [Linda, how're you doing? The two are exchanging eye speech here. He's standing and exhaling. He's actually breaching a little heavy, and this water isn't helping. But... yeah, Linda, let's go in for the win.

His dial trick might have worked on that last thing if he was prepared, but he gives up on the shell, attaching it back to his waist. He tugs on his gloves to tighten them again]

[Neji's well aware that he's pushing his own chakra stores; he'll have to be more conservative with himself for the rest of this, if he doesn't want to push too far and wind up half-blind or face-down in the mud.

But he should be able to see this through, no problem. Masaomi doesn't look all that fresh either. He keeps a wary eye on the two of them, falling back into a defensive stance.]

Okay! Linda, Aqua Tail! [And then he's back to the offensive. Kick, punch, punch. He tries to keep the pressure up, but he honestly know he won't last and he's probably making a few sloppy moves here. He hopes Neji is simply too spent himself to immediately capitalize on it anyway. He's hoping to Give Linda the Perfect Time to abuse her little ace, even if Masaomi couldn't use his.

That is, drawing a ton of the rain water here around her tail. And then she leaps when Masaomi scoots back from his offensive, whatever state he's in, to deliver two layers of it - the first one is easy to see coming,a bit old high powered splash of water. The second is capitalizing on the fact that happened to hopefully be less visible - a very sharp blade of water surrounding the tail left over after the splash.

...It's totally the last ditch move of both of them though. Probably]

[At this point, Neji wants to end it, so he goes for that opening of Masaomi's that he sees, regardless of what Linda's doing. So he's still stretched out, trying to get in one last hit as Masaomi jumps back and the Aqua Tail comes into play. The splash of water soaks him, and he just endures that -- and then the sharp blade of water slashes against his upper arm.

He rolls away as soon as he feels it, but she still got him, and got him pretty good -- a long cut, diagonal up his tricep. Ouch.

But he's not stopping. A hiss, and he goes in for a hopefully finishing strike on Masaomi, a high-powered blow that he's pulling just enough that Masaomi will be able to walk home.]

[Yeah, that totally connected, launched him back and made him land in the mud, sore. Linda almost - almost goes in for another attack but Masaomi speaks up first-] I give!

[And phew, is he tired. Tired and...]

[In pain? What in the hell? It's only after he gives in, admits he's beaten that it registers for him, but his arms and torso are both burning, like he had strained all of his muscles. But there's no way that should be, aside from that last hit, most of Neji's blows were light- he only barely felt them. He's not used to chakra things, so he can't register the signs of what actually happened, but his arms go wide as he registers the internal pain all at once. And not all of it is even pain, he realizes he can only sort of feel his fingers on one of his arms.

It's not crippling, but it's surprising. Masaomi's one of those people who is too stubborn to feel anything which isn't threatening his life (seriously, dude gets head wounds all the time in canon and keeps trucking) so he didn't register it until this moment. He even cringes a little] ...Whoa.

[The moment Masaomi calls out his surrender, Neji stops -- with relief, because he's just about done in, what with the really rather wasteful expenditure of chakra.

And when he sees Masaomi's reaction, he nods a little and reaches out a hand to help him up.]

Sore, are you? Most of it will pass within fifteen minutes or so. Don't worry.

Jeee-sha, I hope so. Ow. Ow, ow, ow. This stings, what the hell did you do?

[Wincing, he sits up properly. Linda also rushes over, and the rains she summoned are starting to fade out]

Blocked your chakra points, primarily. There's also some nerve blockage along with it. Nothing's permanent, though.

[He will be so happy to get dry.]

So... when do I feel my hand again?

[Twitching his fingers a it one the right arm. Okay, where's... the left. Okay he can move them a little. That's sluggish. He should actually get up to standing, he plants both his legs but. Mud. He holds up his right hand to have Neji help him]

You should regain feeling within about ten minutes or so. I didn't hit you terribly hard.

[He takes Masaomi's hand and pulls him up casually.]

You and your partner work well together.

Man, and short of limiting my partner's voltage, I wasn't even holding back.

[He stands though, smiling. Groaning a little too]

[He will not be smug, he will not be smug... okay, so he feels a little smug about it. Neji is proud of his skill, proud of what he can do. But he also offers up,]

I would say that counts for a lot. Lightning attacks can severely reduce a hand-to-hand fighter's capabilities.

Plus she can reach eight thousand.

[Even if it's low for a Pikachu, he really likes to praise her for that number. It makes her feel better and it always amazes him]

[Well, Neji has no context for what is normal for a Pikachu; for all he knows, eight thousand volts is pretty damn good.]

Then I would imagine you two can acquit yourselves perfectly well in serious combat.
