[This post serves as a follow-up of this thread and takes place on the final day of the event. Now-

Prince Masaomi is out looking for the girl who left their shoe laying around. A very pretty girl, to be sure! The problem is, he can't quite remember who it was. After all, there are a lot of girls he interacts with quite regularly! So, today, he is out and about looking for every girl or princess he can find to have them "try on" the "shoe" that he has found. To see if he might find his love.

This thread is technically joint with

rideslink, but she'll be hiding in Masaomi's shadow for most of the threads and thus threads will not be three ways until she "comes out" - so don't worry about it until we give you a heads up.]

Aaah... no, not really. Still! [He shrugs. He was belittled but he can deal]

[The huge princess nods after a while, but still not throughoutly convinced that her actions weren't that bad.]

[She looks at the Prince, not understanding his energy. Still, her stance straightens at the possibility of making up for her clouded behavior.]

I need... to have you try on a shoe.

[The Princess is a little puzzled by the request... But she does not deny it. She rises herself from her knees, and timidly lifts the front of her vast red dress to reveal a calf and a foot covered in white nylon.

Not without some nerviousness. She is revealing her ankles, for God's sake.]

[Midna appears before Daisy and Kida, but looks at them both skeptically. Seriously?]

[And he motions to Daisy's foot. To press into it]

[Reluctantly the little imp holds on to Daisy's foot to see if she's the princess.]

[She is quite different. Not many tales used to consider height as a thing of beauty.

Daisy's toes stay perfectly still as Midna tests her. A sense of tension creeps up into her for some reason. Is she the princess Masaomi Kida is looking for?

Will a tall princess with one a foot smaller than her create a scandal in the courts?]

[...Yeah he just waits on Midna. ~~I have decided Daisy is the one though yes~~]

[And by some miracle... Midna does not try to bite Daisy's toes off.]

It's your lucky day, Lady.

[She doesn't believe it. It fits. She retreats a little to see for herself. Her motions with the dress are somewhat less restrained. Happiness.]

Really? [The princess looks at the shoe with hues of Onyx and jade.] It's beautiful... I don't believe it.

[She looks at Kida. She is his princess, after all.]

I am your Princess... [She states, curious herself about the implications, while Kida is seemingly happy with the result.] What happens now, my prince?

[And... she's just sort of here. Hanging around on this foot. Figures they'd forget about her.]

[ Poor Midna.

But yeah he's not noticing this now. But he's also not... sure where to go. But he shifts and keeps hold of her now and-]

[The princess is not aware that the shoe may be sentient. Which is why she picks her up and puts her on her lap.]

This will be our memento, then.

[Midna pouts. She's a fine glass slipper! To be respected and stared at in awe! Not some child that needs to sit on a lap.]

[Aaaaaaand story end. Masaomi snaps out of whatever pulled in bit he was in and then looks from Minda to Daisy, and then arches an eyebrow]

[A second later, Daisy regains her sanity as well.

And notices the small imp on her lap. And Kida hugging her. And her red princess dress.]

Kida. She does not look like a shoe.

[She states the first thing she realizes upon regaining her wits.]

[Midna panics and disappears into the shadow of a nearby tree.]

[And he breaks off of Daisy and slips out of grabbing her. weird. Wait, where's Midna? Weird]
