[So Masaomi Kida has a plan today. Namely, he's out to kidnap (for her own good) Katara. There's a few times he could do this. He considers going for her before school... but he's not a morning person and neither is she. After school feels like too little time, so he's opted to pull her aside towards the end of lunch (to hopefully evade Sokka), saying that he has forgotten something (which'll later evolve into "show you something" among other excuses). Well, him and Linda (because he's taken to bringing the pichu along to school, lately) And from there... the adventure begins.

Hours of inane things ensue, not to mention a handful of not-quite arguments about how late it is getting. Feel free to run into them more or less anywhere: item shop, Azzip pizza, various floors of various community buildings,Rec Center, south side of town, north side of town, generally more or less anywhere. Chances are you won't even need to be the first to speak, because you run a good chance of running into them talking! This'll be any time between lunch break at school and oh, early evening

Weird.

[It's about midday now, so... Alexis might have noticed that Katara and Masaomi never made it back to school.

She gestures her head over to Masaomi and Linda and... has pity on them, moving to bend the soda off them.]

[Weird, she believes. And, yes, she noticed.] Making a day of it?

[You know, whatever it is and all.]

[Linda is surprised at this.

She should not be. she runs an electrical current through her body once her fur is un-wetted to make her body feel correct, so a little volt of electricity runs all over her starting from her cheek. Masaomi just shakes his head to make his hair feel right]

She means cool.

No, I mean weird.

[She drops the soda back to the ground again.]

How was the rest of school?

I'll go with weird. [Alexis shrugs one shoulder.] Same as school usually is. Nothing exciting.

See? Told you we missed nothing.

[He'll huff at this, dramatically taking a long stride closer to Katara]

[A narrowed-eyed glance at Masaomi.]

I like those classes.

[Huff. How often does she have to present this case?

I'll have to write the professor and apologize.

I don't think it's the make up work that's really the problem. [She said it a little quietly, not sure she wants to say it.] At any rate, though... Uhm. It was a good day?

Of course it was- and you know what- look at this way Katara, with you babysitting me, you ensured she didn't need to deal with me in class right off!

Alexis may even remember that one particular day when he got up in class to draw a giant heart with a 'K' inside it.

So she just sighs a little.]

It wasn't too bad. I need to head to the clinic soon, though.

[Yeah, point.] The clinic? [So, so dryly.] And miss exploding cans?

Please, I've got way more tricks up my sleeves than exploding cans.

[Mildly apologetic.] He was showing me one of Linda's moves.

So that-- [Pointing at the little... thing] --is Linda?

Yep. My partner.

[And he'll crouch a bit, giving her an arm to run up to get his his shoulder. she's stopped sparking, but she's now static-clinging half his hair, as usual]

She's a Pokemon.

[If. You know what that is. Katara sure didn't.]

Huh. [Pokemon. This day sure is weird.] She's cute.

Of course she is, she takes right after her mother.

[He rolls his eyes. In Katara's direction. It's actually a mislead, her mother is Chuchu but he's hoping one of them will get the joke]

[Oh moon and stars, Masaomi you did not just say that.]

[~~Mun wishes she had an appropriate facepalm icon.~~] At any rate, she's cute and the can exploding was actually kind of impressive.

[Wave wave, smirk. Of course it was.

Linda, meanwhile, beams. Sparking her cheeks a bit]

[Yes, yes, you're all very impressive, but Katara still can't believe you just SAID that.]

Careful, Alexis. It'll go to their heads.
