[Masaomi is wearing this... (also this bracelet) and he's upside down. Specifically, he is standing on the ceiling of the grocery store and has his journal propped up on one of the shelves to record him being on the ceiling. He's doing this to be swagilicious, and you are free to walk in on him or see the video, but he begins with a laugh and a nod]

Greetings, greeting Luceti! I know, I was thinking I'd roll with the mood of love we've had for a while now and set up some dates, but I didn't find any chocolates in the grocery. I took this as a sign that the time for steamy romance might not be just now, and I've decided to request of you something I don't usually do! [He spreads his arms wide and begins to pace... on the ceiling. He's really straining his chakra control here and anyone who knows the look for the signs will notice that despite trying to look flippant, he is concentrating quite a bit.] Namely, does anyone wish to try one of those fabled spars with me and my partner? I promise, it won't be something you regret! [And with a wink, and releases himself from the ceiling. He flips himself in the air as he falls and lands on his feet. He groans when he does because that impact was harder than he thought it would be, but he switches the journal off afterwards.

...Feel free to see him in there, of course. He'll be waiting for responses there after, sitting in a chair eating an apple with Linda the Pikachu doing the same next to him]

Oh, whatever could you mean?

[Chinstroke, pleased. Smirking]

[Oh, is that how it is? She can play that game too. By ignoring it.]

So you shaved that thing off your face.

Yeah huh. Seems like it wasn't working, after all.

Yeah, well shaving it off could only do so much for your face.

It's true! After all, I started so handsome that a tiny faux pas like that mustache can't do all that much!

[And now he pushes himself off the wall, landing with a front roll to a standing position again, striking this pose]

Whoa, now. Don't go overselling yourself.

That's not how you'd take it, hmm? Oh well. [And he folds his arms behind his head. He takes three steps forward and clicks "Start" on the simulation before opening the door for Korra to head on in.]

After you?

[The simulation in question actually opens into a forest... where the trees are actually giant mushrooms]

[Korra shrugs, and makes her way in. After getting two steps in, however, she ends up turning around as she walks.]

Whoa... is this really a place?

If it is, it's soooo not my world. [With a chuckle, as he steps into the forest. The ground is slightly dry. The original version of this simulation was actually a Marsh, but he drained it of water not not give he and overwhelming advantage. So while there's foliage and a few animals around (...huh, that's interesting, that looks like a flying manta ray over there. He tries not to think about it. He'd seen giant wasp things here, but that's a new one)

Either way. Mushroom forest. And he humps as he follows her in and shuts the door]

[Korra actually becomes too absorbed in staring at the landscape than remembering what they came here for. Large mushrooms is definitely not what she expected to see.]

Looks like something out of a weird dream.

There's probably some world like this, though. [Huh, it looks so weird with the water drained. The soil's got a greenish tint to it. And... wow that manta is still weird over there to the left. Also now he looks at it the mushroom-trees actually have bark (or something like it) on their crooked trunks.

Buuuut, he now goes to take out and expand to baseball size Linda's Pokeball. Which he tosses in the air and catches]

[When Masaomi fishes out Linda's ball Korra already has her back turned to him. Her arms stretch up, and her hands rest clasped behind her head. As the Avatar continues further into the simulation she speaks up again.]

So when is your partner supposed to get here?

Here already, actually.

[And he clicks the button on the ball, tossing it into the air. With a flash of red light and a small cry, Linda appears into existence int he air, falling quickly to Masaomi's feet]

[Korra turns around, and gives him a look. After getting over being confused, she laughs. This is a joke, right?]

That's your partner?

Mmmhm. She's actually the stronger of us.

Right, and maybe I should have brought Naga.

[Who isn't in Luceti right now, but this is a joke. Jeez.]

If you wanted, all's fair. But like I said, the spar's against both of us~ Being the Avatar though, though shan't be a problem, right, Korra-chan?

[He rocks to the other leg, smirking some]

What? No, I can take whatever you got! Come on!

Alright, alright! [He takes a stance. He decides to give her time to be ready. Make the first move if she wants.]

[Quickly she throws a punch, and shoots a burst of fire at the two.]

[Fire. Cool. Masaomi side-steps that one easier, but his eyes widen a little in spite of himself. As for Linda, she leads out as she likes to.

She claps her tail and paw together to make a very loud, very distracting, always flinch-inducing Fake Out]

[Korra flinches, and stumbles back a bit. It's startling, but honestly not very scary. Linda has time to make a move while Korra tries to find her footing again.]

[More importantly, Masaomi does. Switch hit- while she flinches back Masaomi makes a kick for an upper point in Korra's arm. Interestingly, Masaomi's always been good at locating weak points on people. It's not chi blocking, but he definitely aiming for a pressure point up there.

With a very strong kick. Mostly because he expects even startled she might move to make it a glancing blow]

[Korra can't block or evade the attack quick enough, but she angles her body so that when he does kick her arm that it is at an angle. This makes it so that after the initial impact the kick's momentum keeps it sliding up along the rest of her body, and up over her head. Korra thus doesn't receive the full impact of the blow, but she'll probably be bruised later. She also can't attack right away, but instead perhaps she can counter their next attack.]

[She isn't cross countering and isn't attacking yet... if he was the same as how he was months ago he's press the attack further for real. As it is, he throws a punch at her chest. It's not really meant to connect solidly, just keep her cornered and give him time to scoot back. In fact he'll be doing that, and Linda takes this chance to follow up as Masaomi's retreating to hit her with an Iron Tail. Her tail coated in metal, that is.

The Punch->Tail is really a one two unless she goes to grapple him]
